The gated family Mews home in battersea, London
Tailored Home Design for a Growing Family.
The project brief was to modernise and personalise a dated 3-storey mews house in a sought-after part of London, just a stone’s throw from Battersea Park. The home, originally built in 1999 as part of a gated development by Berkley Group, was in need of a thoughtful redesign to suit the needs of a young family of four. They had outgrown their Belgravia apartment and sought a space that reflected their lifestyle, provided room for growth, and was truly theirs.
Our design process began with a deep understanding of the family’s desires, dreams, and the unique characteristics of their home. We embraced the existing architecture—highlighting the exposed yellow brick, tall ceilings, and feature arched and circular windows. The house’s charm was undeniable, but it required careful intervention to transform it into a modern, warm, and functional sanctuary.

A Bespoke Bathroom Design that Tells a Story
A multipurpose luxurious mud room and guest cloakroom in one
We approached the design with the intention of creating a space that was both luxurious and functional. The result? A powder room that combines modern minimalism with soft, earthy tones, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The oversized-fully bespoke, exaggerated curved vanity with push-open off-white joinery contrasts beautifully with the sandy brown Daino Reale marble and minimalist Gunmetal black spout. The walls are covered in a harmonious blend of off-white tiles, with different textures and patterns enhancing the depth of the room.
Stapled with the understated feature that is the artisan-applied Peach Fuzz clay plaster, which not only adds a soft texture to the walls but also encourages light to bounce throughout the room. This gentle, handcrafted finish contrasts with the dark grey rivet tiles and gold trim, creating a stunning visual effect that feels luxurious and grounded. The combination of dual lighting—courtesy of minimalist tube lighting and an opaque glass light above the vanity—creates a warm, ambient glow, enhancing the tranquil atmosphere of the space.
